THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      NEWTON...JASPER

AT 930 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
RAIN ACROSS SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AROUND JOPLIN AND NEOSHO..RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SINCE MIDNIGHT WITH
ADDITIONAL EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT TWO HOURS WILL CAUSE MANY STREAMS
TO LEAVE THEIR BANKS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED IMMEDIATELY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
