IN NORTH WEST VIRGINIA ...MONONGALIA COUNTY...PRESTON COUNTY WEATHER RADAR AT 430 PM INDICATED POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO WESTERN AND NORTHERN MONONGALIA COUNTY. THESE STORMS WILL ALSO PRODUCE HEAVY DOWNPOURS...WHICH COULD CAUSE FLOODING TO POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AND SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. CHARLESTON WEATHER RADAR AND SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOW THUNDERSTORMS MERGING INTO THREE LINES AS THEY APPROACH THE CENTRAL APPALACHIANS. THE NORTHERN LINE EXTENDS ALONG THE SOUTHERN PENNSYLVANIA BORDER... SOUTHWESTWARD ALONG THE OHIO RIVER TO THE PARKERSBURG WV AREA...THEN WESTWARD THROUGH CHILLICOTHE OH TO CINCINNATI OH. ANOTHER LINE IS DEVELOPING FROM NORTH OF HUNTINGTON WV WEST ALONG THE OHIO RIVER TO JUST NORTH OF LEXINGTON KY.
