418 PM CDT WED MAY 13 1992

AT 4 17 PM A LARGE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 6 MILES NORTHEAST
OF STRINGTOWN. THE STORM WAS BUILDING SLOWLY WESTWARD. LARGE HAIL UP
TO GOLFBALL SIZE AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.
ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEARING THE TOWN OF LANE. IF
YOU ARE NEAR THESE THUNDERSTORMS GO TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.

...A TORNADO WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE NORTH TEXAS COUNTIES OF
ARCHER...CLAY...HARDEMAN...KNOX...YOUNG...BAYLOR...FOARD...JACK...
WICHITA...AND WILBARGER. THE WATCH IS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

AT 420 PM CDT WICHITA FALLS RADAR INDICATED STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED IN SOUTHERN
YOUNG COUNTY TO THE WEST OF GRAHAM. OTHER SCATTERED STORMS EXISTED SOUTH
TO BRECKENRIDGE. SEVERE STORMS CONTINUE NEAR ABILENE AND SOUTH OF MCALESTER.
LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS DETECTED.

SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED FROM THE INTERACTION OF AN OLD FRONTAL BOUNDARY
AND DRYLINE...INTENSE HEATING OUF MOIST SURFACE AIR...AND AN UPPER AIR
DISTURBANCE ENTERING THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST.
