AT 655 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM ENTERING EXTREME
WESTERN CONNECTICUT NEAR THE TOWNS OF KENT...NEW MILFORD...SHERMAN...
AND NEW FAIRFIELD...OF EXTREME SOUTHWEST LITCHFIELD COUNTY AND EXTREME
NORTHERN FAIRFIELD COUNTY.  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...
AND SMALL HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH CONTINUES TO BE IN EFFECT FOR NORTHERN HALF
OF NEW JERSEY AND SOUTHERN NEW YORK STATE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT.

A LINE OF INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS SOME WITH POSSIBLE HAIL WAS LOCATED OVER
SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY FROM ATLANTIC COUNTY NORTH THROUGH EASTERN OCEAN
COUNTY. THESE SYSTEM WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 35 MILES AN HOUR.

A THUDERSTROM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED OVER CENTRAL MORRIS COUNTY
OF NORTHERN NEW JERSEY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 TO 25 MILES AN
HOUR AND SHOULD BE MOVCING INTO ESSEX COUNTY VERY SHORTLY.

SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER EASTERN PUTNAM
COUNTY OF NEW YORK STATE AND MOVING EAST INTO LITCHIFILD COUNTY OF
NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT.

MOST OF THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 30 MILES AN HOUR.

OF CONNECTICUT. THIS STORM WAS PART OF A LARGER AREA OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED FROM PUTNAM AND DUTCHESS COUNTIES OF NEW YORK STATE
EAST THROUGH MOST OF CONNECTICUT AND EXTENDING INTO SECTIONS OF CENTRAL
MASSACHETTS.

ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS OVER NORTHERN MARYLAND JUST
NORTH OF BALTIMORE. THIS STORM WAS PART OF A LARGER SYSTEM OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THAT STRETCHEDT FROM CENTRAL MARYLAND NORTH THROUGH SOUTHERN
PENNSYLVANAI AND NEW JERSEY.
THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 25 TO 30 MILES AN
HOUR.
