SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
 
   ...PEARL.RIVER COUNTY
 
AT 940 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADARS INDICATED A SHORT NORTH-SOUTH LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS EASTERN LOUISIANA JUST WEST OF THE PEARL
RIVER. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AT 45 MPH AND
WILL MOVE ACROSS THE PEARL RIVER DURING THE NEXT FEW MINUTES. THE
STRONGEST OF THE STORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA FROM PICAYUNE TO
POPLARVILLE.
 
DAMAGING WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
