            ... FREEZING WEATHER TO RETURN ...

ALTHOUGH THE WEATHER TODAY WAS WARM...A COLD FRONT WILL BE ENTERING
WEST TENNESSEE AROUND SUNRISE TUESDAY.  THE FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS
MUCH OF THE STATE DURING THE DAY ENDING THE RAINS IN WEST AND
MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

BEHIND THE FRONT...ARCTIC AIR WILL INVADE TENNESSEE CAUSING
TEMPERATURES TO FALL DURING THE DAY INTO THE 40S OVER THE WESTERN HALF
OF THE STATE.  THE FRONT SHOULD REACH THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU BY
TUESDAY EVENING.  SKIES SHOULD REMAIN CLOUDY DURING THE DAY OVER WEST
AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE ON TUESDAY PREVENTING THE SUN FROM PROVIDING MUCH
WARMTH.

ADDITIONALLY...WINDS FROM THE NORTHWEST FOLLOWING THE FRONT WILL BE
STRONG...ABOUT 15 OR 20 MILES AN HOUR.

THE WINDS WILL BE DECREASING TUESDAY NIGHT...AND BY WEDNESDAY MORNING
TEMPERATURES WILL BE FREEZING OR BELOW ACROSS ALL BUT THE EAST
TENNESSEE VALLEY.

WITH THE WARM TEMPERATURES OVER THE PAST WEEK OR SO...MANY TREES AND
PLANTS HAVE BLOOMED.  THE COLD TEMPERATURES COULD PROVIDE SOME DAMAGE
TO THE NEW VEGETATION...SO PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE TAKEN TO MINIMIZE
POTENTIAL DAMAGE.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN SUNFLOWER AND YALOBUSHA
COUNTIES OF WESTERN MISSISSIPPI.
