207 PM CDT FRI MAY 22 1992

...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF THE SOUTH PLAINS EXCEPT
   KENT AND KING COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM CDT...

AT 202 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS
AND RAIN SHOWERS SCATTERED ACROSS NORTHERN AND WESTERN SECTIONS OF THE
SOUTH PLAINS. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE NEAR MATADOR...NEAR
FLOYDADA...AND 15 MILES WEST OF BROWNFIELD.

ANOTHER AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS APPROACHING THE WESTERN
COUNTIES OF THE SOUTH PLAINS FROM EASTERN NEW MEXICO.

MOVEMENT OF ALL STORMS WAS EAST AT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

HEAVY RAINFALL...SMALL HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND STRONG GUSTY
WINDS MAY BE EXPECTED WITH THE PASSAGE OF THE STRONGER STORMS. IF
THUNDERSTORMS APPROACH YOUR AREA...MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING OR
OTHER SHELTER.
