THIS AFTERNOON AT 430 CDT NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF A LINE EXTENDING FROM EAST OF ROCKFORD DOWN ILLINOIS HIGHWAY 2 TO AROUND OREGON AND ON SOUTHWEST TO MOLINE. THEY WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 TO 35 MILES AN HOUR. BEHIND THIS LINE...RAINFALL WAS VERY LIGHT AND SOME CLEARING WAS TAKING PLACE. THE HEAVIEST THUNERSTORMS WERE LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST LEE COUNTY AND FAR SOUTHWEST DE KALB COUNTY. THEY WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS THAT WILL PRODUCE PERIODS OF LOCALIZED FLOODING OF STREETS AND SMALL STREAMS.
