...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE IN FLEMING COUNTY...

AT 8 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SLOW
MOVING THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN 50 MILES NORTHEAST OF
LEXINGTON NEAR FLEMINGSBURG.

NEARLY ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS PARTS OF FLEMING COUNTY
SINCE 7 PM EDT.

THE RAIN WILL GRADUALLY END OVER MOST OF FLEMING COUNTY BY 9 PM...
OR SHORTLY THEREAFTER. UNTIL THEN...OCCASIONAL HEAVY DOWNPOURS
ARE POSSIBLE IN AND AROUND FLEMINGSBURG...WHICH WILL LIKELY RESULT
IN PONDING OF WATER IN LOW-LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS.
