A FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SIGHTED NEAR DELACROIX LOUISIANA AT 230 PM CDT.
WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN THE AREA MOVING
SLOWLY TOWARD THE EAST.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE SHOWN FROM BUNKIE TO MARKSVILLE...
AND FROM DONALDSONVILLE AND PLAQUEMINE EXTENDING ACROSS GROSSE TETE...
PORT ALLEN AND BATON ROUGE TO NEW ROADS AND JACKSON.  MOVEMENT WAS
NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING HOURS. PEOPLE IN EAST CENTRAL LOUISIANA...INCLUDING THE
BATON ROUGE METROPOLITAN AREA SHOULD BE ALERT TO PERIODS OF HEAVY
RAINFALL...WITH STREET FLOODING...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND STRONG GUSTY
