THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE NORTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      WESTERN CENTRAL CHERRY

AT 544 PM MDT A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS INDICATED BY RADAR
FROM 25 MILES SOUTH TO 45 MILES SOUTH OF MERRIMAN...OR 65 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF VALENTINE.

THE STORMS WERE IN THE VICINITY OF STEVERSON AND HOME VALLEY LAKES
AND MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

PREPARE FOR LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WIND...HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING BY TAKING COVER.  STAY AWAY FROM AREAS WHERE LOOSE ITEMS
CAN BECOME DANGEROUS FLYING DEBRIS.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
