AT 8 PM...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PARTS OF SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY
EXPIRED. ONLY A SMALL CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS REMAINED OVER OWSLEY
COUNTY...20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JACKSON. THEY WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
25 MILES AN HOUR.

THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE A BRIEF PERIOD OF HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND

AT 830 PM EDT...RADAR SHOWED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM HAD DEVELOPED
30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF JACKSON...OR JUST TO THE NORTH OF MANCHESTER
IN CLAY COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

IF A THUNDERSTORM APPROACHES SEEK A SAFE INDOOR SHELTER UNTIL THE STORMS
HAVE PASSED. IF YOU LIVE IN A LOW-LYING OR FLOOD PRONE AREA YOU SHOULD
MONITOR WATER LEVELS CLOSELY AND BE READY TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IF
RAPIDLY RISING WATER IS OBSERVED.
