ALTHOUGH ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND EAST MISSISSIPPI...STRONGER STORMS
WERE BEGINNING TO BE DETECTED ACROSS NORTHERN LOUISIANA.
THE STORMS IN LOUISIANA WERE MOVING EAST AND APPEARED TO
BE ACCELERATING. RESIDENTS OF WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST
MISSISSIPPI CAN LOOK FOR RAPID THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT
BETWEEN 3 AND 5PM THIS AFTERNOON.

RAINFALL...CONTINUED DEVELOPING OVER CENTRAL AND EAST MISSISSIPPI.
MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH WITH THE STRONGEST STORM IN HOLMES
COUNTY ABOUT 10 MILES NORTH OF LEXINGTON.

OTHER STORMS WERE APPROACHING THE MONROE, LOUISIANA AREA RAPIDLY
FROM THE WEST. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL CONTAIN TORRENTIAL RAINS...
GUSTY WINDS...POSSIBLE HAIL AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.
