SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 358 IS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF
NORTHWEST AND WEST-CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI UNTIL 2 AM CDT MONDAY MORNING.

AT 826 PM...JACKSON RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF WIDELY SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS
SOUTH MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA FROM BUDE TO EAST OF
BOGALUSA LOUISIANA.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

THERE WAS NO PRECIPITATION OCCURRING ACROSS THE COUNTIES WITHIN THE
WATCH AREA...HOWEVER AN AREA OF NUMEROUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED
FROM CENTRAL ARKANSAS...TO 15 MILES WEST OF THE EL DORADO AREA...
SOUTHWESTWARD TO EXTREME NORTHWEST LOUISIANA.

MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 40 MILES AN HOUR.  THIS AREA OF
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE APPROACHING THE WESTERN PART OF THE STATE
THROUGHOUT THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT AND MAY AFFECT SOME WESTERN COUNTIES
IN MISSISSIPPI LATE TONIGHT OR SHORTLY AFTER MIDNIGHT.

 ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR WEST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI UNTIL 2 AM...

THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 TO
45 MPH THROUGH SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS AND NORTHEAST LOUISIANA FROM JUST
EAST OF PINE BLUFF AND STRONG ARKANSAS TO MINDEN LOUISIANA.  LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD ENTER NORTHWEST MISSISSIPPI BETWEEN
1030 AND 11 PM.

ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAD DEVELOPED
OVER SOUTHCENTRAL MISSISSIPPI AND SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA GENERALLY BETWEEN
MCCOMB AND PICAYUNE.  LITTLE MOVEMENT WAS DETECTED AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL COULD OCCUR WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
