118 AM CST SAT FEB 15 1992

...TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 15 REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM FOR PORTIONS
OF SOUTH MISSISSIPPI...

AT 110 AM CST RADAR SHOWED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTH OF
THE MISSISSIPPI BORDER NEAR VERNANDA LOUISIANA. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD MOVE INTO
SOUTHEASTERN MARION AND SOUTHERN LAMAR COUNTIES BY 130 AM.

THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCE A POSSIBLE TORNADO AND WIND DAMAGE IN
SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. AT THE PRESENT TIME THE STORM APPEARS TO HAVE
WEAKENED...BUT WILL BE WATCHED FOR FURTHER INTENSIFICATION.

ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS IN SOUTHERN COVINGTON COUNTY 10 MILES
SOUTH OF COLLINS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM SHOULD
MOVE INTO SOUTHERN JONES COUNTY BY 130 AM.

AT 1225 AM...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL...WERE INDICATED IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI BETWEEN GREENWOOD...
CARTHAGE...AND VICKSBURG...AND ALSO IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA.

THE STONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED BETWEEN HOLLY BLUFF AND
YAZOO CITY...NEAR CARTHAGE...AND ALSO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST AND SOUTHWEST
OF PICKENS.
IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS
LOCATED 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF HAMMOND.

ELSEWHERE...A LARGE AREA OF MOSTLY LIGHT RAIN CONTINUED OVER MUCH OF
MISSISSIPPI...AND EXTENDED INTO SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

CANTON...AND IN EXTREME SOUTH MISSISSIPPI FROM CENTREVILLE TO WEST
OF LUMBERTON.  OTHERWISE...MOSTLY LIGHT RAIN CONTINUED OVER MUCH OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTH MISSISSIPPI.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS IN MISSISSIPPI WERE LOCATED 10 MILES NORTH
OF HATTIESBURG...10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LIBERTY...AND 15 MILES WEST
OF LUMBERTON.  IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA...A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL WAS LOCATED 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF KENTWOOD.

MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.
