AT 315 PM EST...A LINE OF VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WAS OVER WESTERN LAKE MICHIGAN..THROUGH GARY INDIANA...THEN SOUTHWEST THROUGH KANKAKEE ILLINOIS. WIND GUSTS TO 77 MILES AN HOUR WAS REPORTED AT GARY INDIANA AS THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHED. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH A HISTORY OF DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES AN HOUR ARE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR ACROSS NORTHWEST INDIANA FROM SOUTH BEND TO LAFAYETTE. BY 515 PM EST... THIS LINE OF STORMS WILL BE ENTERING NORTHEAST INDIANA FROM LAGRANGE TO WABASH. THIS IS DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND TORNADOS ARE POSIBLE.
