IN SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS ...LAWRENCE COUNTY...RICHLAND COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA ...KNOX COUNTY AT 817 PM CDT...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE 40 TO 50 MILES NORTH AND NORTHWEST OF EVANSVILLE...FROM VINCENNES WEST TO JUST WEST OF OLNEY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH...YOU CAN EXPECT STRONG DAMAGING WIND TOREENTIAL RAIN AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS...IF YOU ARE IN THEIR PATH...TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. SOME OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS WERE FROM BROWNSBURG TO DANVILLE INDIANA...ABOUT 10 TO 20 MILES WEST OF INDIANAPOLIS....AND FROM THE SOUTHEAST PART OF INDIANAPOLIS TO SHELBYVILLE. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THE STORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING... AND GUSTY WINDS.
