THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF ILLINOIS
      CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL HANCOCK

AT 510 PM CDT SURFACE REPORTS INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM IN
HANCOCK COUNTY JUST SOUTHWEST OF CARTHAGE. MOVEMENT WAS NORTH AT
45 MPH.

CITIES WHICH MAY BE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM ARE CARTHAGE...FERRIS
AND BURNSIDE.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM..GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN AND LIGHTNING.
