THUNDERSTORMS WERE ONCE AGAIN STARTING TO DEVELOP IN ESTERN INDIANA
TO NORTHERN KENTUCKY AT 138 PM EDT.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SHOWED WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH PERIODS
OF VERY HEAVY RAINS FROM JUST SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE TO NORTH VERON INDIANA
TO NEAR LOUIVILLE KENTUCKY...OR FROM 10 MILES SOUTH OF FORT WAYNE INDIANA
TO 45 MILES WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF CINCINNATI.

TWO LARGE THUNDERSTORMS NEAR GREENSBURG TO NORTH VERNON INDIANA ACONTAIN
VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND WILL MOVE INTO RIPLEY AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES OF
SOUTHEAST INDIANA BETWEEN 2 PM EDT AND 230 PM EDT.

AS THUNDERSTORMS REDEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND MOVE ACROSS AREAS THAT
RECEIVED LARGE AMOUNTS OF RAIN EARLIER TODAY...PEOPLE IN THESE AREA WILL
EXPERIENCE FLOODING.

AS STORMS APPROACH YOUR AREA THIS AFTERNOON TAKE COVER IN A STRONG
BUILDING AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND AND DO NOT TRY
TO CROSS AREA OF HIGH WATER.

ALSO...SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE CAUSING WIND GUSTS TO
55 MILES AND POSSIBLE HAIL.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBUS OH
345 PM EDT THU JUN 18 1992

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF WESTERN OHIO
UNTIL 9 PM EDT.

SOME CITIES IN THE WATCH AREA ARE COLUMBUS...CINCINNATI...DAYTON AND
SPRINGFIELD.

AT 345 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS OVER
EASTERN INDIANA AND WESTERN OHIO MAINLY WEST OF A LINE FROM FINDLAY TO
TROY AND CINCINNATI. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30
MILES AN HOUR.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL SECTIONS OF OHIO
BETWEEN 5 AND 6 PM EDT. THE THUNDERSTORMS TO THE WEST HAVE BEEN
PRODUCING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MILES AN HOUR...LARGE HAIL AND HEAVY
RAINS.

PEOPLE IN CENTRAL OHIO SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER
CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR
LOCAL MEDIA STATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR WARNINGS.

1137 PM EDT    TREE DOWN ON CAR IN MENDON IN MERCER COUNTY.

6/18/92        SIXTY MPH WIND GUST WITH WALL CLOUD SIGHTING.
