A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR WESTERN OHIO UNTIL 900 PM
EDT.

AT 630 PM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THUNDERSTORMS
ABOUT 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF DAYTON TO TEN MILES SOUTHWEST OF DAYTON
OHIO. ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS ALSO 20 MILES WEST OF DAYTON
NEAR RICHMOND INDIANA. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

PEOPLE IN THE DAYTON METROPOLITAN AREA CAN EXPECT THUNDERSTORMS WITH
HEAVY RAIN...SMALL HAIL...AND WIND GUST TO 45 MPH BETWEEN 700 AND
730 PM EDT.

STORMS WAS FROM 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF CINCINNATI NEAR LEBANON TO 25
MILES SOUTH OF CINCINNATI NEAR DRY RIDGE KENTUCKY.

THESE STORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MILES

CENTRAL OHIO WHICH INCLUDES THE COUNTIES OF DELAWARE...MADISON...UNION
AND MARION.
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING ACROSS NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
THIS EVENING.

AT 645 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ABOUT 40 MILES WIDE FROM CLEVELAND SOUTHWEST TO BELLEFONAINE IN
LOGAN COUNTY. THE LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING SOUTHEA
ABOUT 15 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO CENTRAL MARION COUNTY BY 730 PM EDT.

THESE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING HEAVY
RAIN...STRONG CUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL. PERSONS IN THE PATH OF
THESES STORMS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER IF SEVERE WEATHER IS
OBSERVED.
