THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DAYTON HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...DARKE COUNTY
 
SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS LIKELY ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF DARKE
COUNTY OHIO THIS THURSDAY EVENING.
 
AT 448 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A THUNDERSTORM WITH
VERY HEAVY RAIN ALONG THE OHIO/INDIANA BORDER IN NORTHWEST DARKE
COUNTY.  ONE TO TWO INCH AMOUNTS OF RAIN HAD BEEN REPORTED FROM THIS
STORM AS IT MOVE ACROSS MUNCIE INDIANA.
 
THE THUNDERSTORM HAS MAINTAINED ITS INTENSITY AND IS CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING ONE TO TWO INCH AMOUNTS ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF DARKE
COUNTY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
