THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM PST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF CALIFORNIA
      SOUTHEAST KERN

AT 1140 PST MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN THE ROSAMOND AREA
WITH EVACUATION TAKING PLACE FROM MOBILE HOMES. TWO HOMES ARE
EVACUATED. OTHER DESERT AREAS ARE PRONE TO FLASH FLOODING AS WELL.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE OVER ROADS COVERED BY FLOOD WATERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING OR MUD SLIDES AND
FLOWS ATRE OCCURRING OR ARE IMMINENT. PERSONS IN THE WARNING AREAS
SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND AT A MOMENTS NOTICE IF
HEAVY RAIN OR FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IF A HILLSIDE IS
WEAKENING NOTICEABLY OR ABOUT TO GIVE WAY.
