THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLOTTE HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  445 AM EST
FOR EVERYONE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN WEST NORTH CAROLINA
 
   ...CLEVELAND COUNTY FOR THE BROAD RIVER
 
AT 1035PM CLEVELAND COUNTY POLICE REPORTED THE BROAD RIVER IN THE
EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN PART OF THAT COUNTY AT BANKFULL AND ABOUT TO
OVERFLOW. WEATHER RADAR SHOWED HEAVY RAIN THROUGHOUT CLEVELAND COUNTY
AND MORE HEAVY TO THE SOUTHWEST OVER UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTHERN
GEORGIA. ALL OF THIS RAIN WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND 40 MPH.
 
NUMEROUS OTHER STREAMS IN THE COUNTY WERE ALSO REPORTED NEAR BANKFULL ANMAY ALSO COME OUT OF THE BANKS. IF YOU ARE IN A LOW LYING AREA SEEK
HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE GROUND. THE
WATER DEPTH MAY BE TORO GREAT TO ALLOW FOR A SAFE CROSSING.  OR...
EROSION... LEAVING DEEP HOLES... COULD HAVE ALREADY TAKEN PLACE.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
