000 TTAA00 KMSN 191934 SVRMSN WIC001-192015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MADISON WI 232 PM CDT SUN JUL 19 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MADISON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 315 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN ...SOUTHERN ADAMS COUNTY AT 228 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR 5 MILES NORTH OF MAUSTON OR 50 MIELS NORTHWEST OF MADISON MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. RADAR INDICATED LARGE HAIL WITH THIS STORM. NEW LISBON LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED THE GROUND COVERED WITH PEA SIZED TO 1 INCH HAIL. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ARE BROOKSIDE... EASTON...WHITE CREEK...PLAINVILLE...AND BIG SPRINGS. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
