EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES
IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
NORTHEAST FURNAS...EASTERN GOSPER...WESTERN PHELPS
AT 445 PM CST...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 20 MILES SOUTHEAST
OF HOLDREGE NEBRASKA NEAR THE TOWN OF OXFORD. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING
NORTH AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT
OR BELOW GROUND. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON TeHE
LOWEST FLOOR. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED

THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND THE CURRENT PATH OF THESE STORMS WILL TAKE THEM ACROSS WESTERN HARLAN...EASTERN FURNAS AND INTO SOUTHERN GOSPER AND PHELPS COUNTIES BY 510 PM CST PEOPLE IN THE TOWNS OF STAMFORD...ORLEANS AND OXFORD CAN EXPECT HEAVY RAIN...GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLY SOME SMALL HAIL WITH THE PASSAGE OF THESE STORMS AND SHOULD BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A REINFORCED SHELTER SHOULD THREATENING WEATHER APPROACH.
