...A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL
NEBRASKA UNTIL 1100 PM CDT...

AT 427 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA AND OVER NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

THE STORMS OVER SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA WERE LOCATED 25 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST
OF IMPERIAL AND 35 MILES NORTH OF IMPERIAL NEAR BRULE NEBRASKA.

OTHER VERY STRONG STORMS WERE OVER NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS 40 MILES
NORTHEAST TO 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HILL CITY.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  PEOPLE SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE THREAT OF SEVERE
WEATHER THIS EVENING.
