    ...HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

AT 130 PM CDT...GRAND ISLAND RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY
RAIN 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF BROKEN BOW NEBRASKA.

THIS STORM WAS PART OF AN AREA OF CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY WHICH WAS MOVING
THROUGH CENTRAL AND AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.  EARLIER DEPUTY SHERIFFS
REPORTED ONE HALF INCH OF RAIN IN 30 MINUTES 13 MILES WEST OF TAYLOR
NEBRASKA.  THE AREA OF STORMS EXTEND FROM THE SOUTH DAKOTA BORDER
SOUTHWESTWARD TO 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF KEARNEY NEBRASKA.

     SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

AT 225 PM CDT...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE OVER PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA.

THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN A 70 MILE WIDE BAND FROM THE SOUTH DAKOTA/NEBRASKA
BORDER 30 MILES NORTH OF O`NEIL...SOUTHWEST TO NEAR BROKEN BOW.  THE
STRONGEST STORMS IN THIS AREA...LIKELY PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING WERE 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF BROKEN BOW NEAR
CORNSTALK NEBRASKA.

OTHER WIDELY SCATTERED STORMS WERE OVER EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA
JUST SOUTHWEST OF IMPERIAL.
MOVEMENT OF ALL THE STORMS WAS TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 25 TO 35 MPH.
