...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT FOR A PART OF NORTH CENTRAL
TEXAS UNTIL 2 AM...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHERN HALF OF
NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS UNTIL 2 AM. THIS WATCH INCLUDES THE CITIES OF
GAINESVILLE...SHERMAN...DECATUR...DENTON...AND DALLAS/FORT WORTH.

AT 1030 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT STEPHENVILLE INDICATED A LINE OF
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO THE NORTHWESTERN CORNER OF NORTH
CENTRAL TEXAS JUST NORTHWEST OF WICHITA FALLS. THE STORMS WERE MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

ALTHOUGH NO PRECIPITATION WAS CURRENTLY INDICATED ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL
TEXAS...ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS ARE SUCH THAT THE THUNDERSTORMS NEAR
WICHITA FALLS COULD MOVE INTO NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS SOMETIME AFTER
MIDNIGHT.

NORTHWEST MIDDLE AND UPPER LEVEL WINDS CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE STORMS
IN NORTHWEST TEXAS TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST. WITH LOW LEVEL SOUTHEASTERLY
WINDS FEEDING RICH MOISTURE INTO THE STORMS AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE
PRESENT ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS...STORMS MAY CONTINUE TO DEVELOP
SOUTHEAST INTO THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AND ENTER NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
SOMETIME AFTER MIDNIGHT.

MILES AN HOUR.

CONDITIONS REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP SOUTHEAST
INTO NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS.

WEST-NORTHWEST MIDDLE AND UPPER LEVEL WINDS WERE DRIVING THE STORMS IN
THE NORTHWEST PART OF NORTH TEXAS TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST. WITH LOW LEVEL
SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS FEEDING RICH MOISTURE INTO THE STORMS AND AN
UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE PRESENT ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS...STORMS MAY
