000 TTAA00 KFAR 062259 SVRFAR NDC003-070000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FARGO ND 556 PM CDT THU AUG 6 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FARGO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN EAST CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...BARNES COUNTY AT 555 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES EAST OF JAMESTOWN MOVING EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE VALLEY CITY AREA. THIS STORM IS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINS. THE SPIRIT CREEK ALONG THE BARNES/STUTSMAN COUNTY LINE IS OUT OF ITS BANKS AND WATER IS REPORTED FLOWING OUT OF MANY FIELDS IN THE AREA BETWEEN JAMESTOWN AND VALLEY CITY. LOCALIZED FLOODING IS QUITE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.
