SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  430 PM EDT (330 PM CDT)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE

   ...BLEDSOE COUNTY...RHEA COUNTY

AT 245 PM CDT/345 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
OVER THE WESTERN SECTIONS OF BLEDSOE COUNTY OF SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE
MOVING EASTWARD AT 30 MPH.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO
RHEA COUNTY SHORTLY.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH NUMBER 550 IS IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF
   NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA UNTIL 7PM EDT...

AT THIS TIME NO SEVERE WEATHER HAD MOVED INTO THE STATE...HOWEVER SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE SPREADING ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN ALABAMA AND CENTRAL
TENNESSEE.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL
MOVE INTO NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL GEORIGA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO.

AS THE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE INTO THE WESTERN PART OF THE STATE RESIDENTS
CAN EXPECT THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS TO CONTAIN HEAVY DOWNPOURS...GUSTY
WINDS...DANGEROUS LIGHT?NING AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL.
