000 TTAA00 KSAT 262128 SVRSAT TXC187-262230- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANTONIO TX 426 PM CDT TUE MAY 26 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... IN SOUTH TEXAS ...GUADALUPE COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN NORTHWEST GUADALUPE COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR. ALREADY...ONE REPORT OF 3/4 INCH DIAMETER HAIL WAS RECEIVED FROM THIS STORM AS IT MOVED THROUGH EASTERN BEXAR COUNTY. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE.
