000 TTAA00 KAUS 162115 SVRAUS TXC411-162200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN TX 415 PM CDT THU APR 16 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...EASTERN SAN SABA COUNTY AT 413 PM CDT...RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 7 MILES NORTH OF SAN SABA MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. LARGE HAIL IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM ALONG WITH VERY STRONG WINDS TO NEAR 60 MPH. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.
