000 TTAA00 KAUS 112253 SVRAUS TXC051-491-120000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN TX 452 PM CST TUE FEB 11 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...EASTERN BURNET COUNTY...WESTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTY AT 445 PM...RADAR SHOWED A RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES EAST OF LAKE BUCHANAN. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED BY A RADIO STATION TO BE FALLING JUST SOUTH OF LAMPASAS. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
