IN CENTRAL MISSOURI ...NORTHERN BOONE COUNTY AT 340PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER ROCHEPORT...10 MILES WEST OF COLUMBIA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE CITY OF COLUMBIA. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES WITHOUT ADVANCE WARNING. STAY CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
