AT 900 PM...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN...SMALL
HAIL AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING HAD RAPIDLY DEVELOPED IN THE KANSAS CITY
METROPOLITAN AREA AND TO THE EAST ALONG AND JUST NORTH OF MISSOURI
RIVER...TO THE NORTH OF LEXINGTON AND WAVERLY.

AT 905 PM...THE LEAVONWORTH COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED
MARBLE SIZE HAIL JUST WEST OF LEAVENWORTH.  THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST
AT 35 MILES AN HOUR...AND THE STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH SOUTHERN PLATTE
AND WESTERN CLAY COUNTIES BETWEEN 910 AND 1000 PM...NEAR OR JUST SOUTH
OF THE KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN KANSAS CITY NORTH...FROM
LEAVONWORTH TO NORTH OF PLATTE WOODS...TO GLADSTONE.
