...TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR EAST AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND
MUCH OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL MISSOURI UNTIL 1000 PM...
...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTH HALF OF
CLAY COUNTY UNTIL 430 PM...

AT 355 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF
LIBERTY MISSOURI MOVING EAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS
PRODUCING HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...STRONG GUSTY WINDS...AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTNING.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE METRO
AREA THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALSO OVER CENTRAL AND NORTHCENTRAL
MISSOURI.  THESE STORMS WERE ALSO MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.

IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES BE PREPARED TO SEEK SHELTER
QUICKLY IN A STRONG BUILDING.
