...A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE SOUTHEAST HALF
   OF IOWA UNTIL 10 PM THIS FRIDAY EVENING...

AT 327 PM CDT...WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE
OCCURRING OVER CENTRAL THROUGH SOUTHWEST IOWA.  THE STORMS WERE WITHIN
A 25 MILE WIDE BAND FROM 40 MILES WEST OF DES MOINES TO 30 MILES SOUTHEbAST
OF OMAHA/COUNCIL BLUFFS.

THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.
