...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM FOR SOUTHERN ALBANY COUNTY...

AT 230 PM...A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED ALONG THE EAST SLOPES
OF THE SNOWY RANGE MOUNTAINS.  THIS WOULD BE ABOUT 25 MILES WEST OF
LARAMIE.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR...AND
WILL BE MOVING OUT ONTO THE LARAMIE VALLEY THROUGH 4 PM.

PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN ALBANY COUNTY SHOULD BE ALERT TO STRONG THUNDER-
STORMS THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.  THE STORMS WILL LIKELY GET STRONGER
AND COULD PRODUCE HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN.  STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER
RADIO OR RADIO AND TV STATIONS FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE
WARNINGS.

AT 238 PM MDT...RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORMS 33 MILES NORTHEAST
AND 30 MILES EAST OF SIDNEY NEBRASKA...OR 8 MILES NORTHWEST OF OSHKOSH IN
GARDEN COUNTY...AND 6 MILES WEST OF BIG SPRINGS ALONG I-80 IN DEUELL
COUNTY.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST BETWEEN 15 AND 20 MPH.

HEAVY RAIN...STRONG SHIFTING WINDS...AND HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS ACROSS GARDEN COUNTY AND DEUELL COUNTIES UNTIL 315 PM MDT.
PERSONS ALONG INTERSTATE 80 IN DEUELL COUNTY...AND IN THE TOWNS OF BIG

AT 320 PM...A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PART
OF ALBANY COUNTY...GENERALLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80.  THE STRONGEST
STORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 8 MILES SOUTH OF LARAMIE.  THE STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN ALBANY COUNTY...ESPECIALLY IN THE VICINITY OF LARAMIE
...SHOULD BE ALERT TO STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.
HAIL...STRONG WINDS...HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING COULD OCCUR
WITH THE STORMS.  IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...GO TO A SAFE PLACE

NORTHWEST OF CHEYENNE.  RADAR INDICATED HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN WERE LIKELY
WITH THESE STORMS.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST OR NORTHEAST AT
10 TO 15 MILES AN HOUR.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINED IN EFFECT FOR LARAMIE COUNTY UNTIL 8 PM THIS
EVENING.  PEOPLE IN LARAMIE COUNTY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS
UNTIL EARLY THIS EVENING AND TAKE COVER IF A STORM APPROACHES.
