AT 1230 PM HARRISBURG RADAR WAS SHOWING A LINE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS... SOME WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...EXTENDING FROM JUNIATA COUNTY IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS TO SOMERSET COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE OVER HUNTINGDON...SOUTHERN MIFFLIN...AND SOUTHERN JUNIATA COUNTIES. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE MOVING INTO PORTIONS OF THE LOWER SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY BY 100 PM. NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS. HOWEVER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND LOWER SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY UNTIL 800PM...WHICH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WITH LARGE HAIL...DANGEROUS LIGHTNING...AND DAMAGING WINDS.
