...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR
DEWITT...LAVACA...GOLIAD...CALHOUN...JACKSON AND VICTORIA COUNTIES...

...A FLOOD AND FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT THROUGH TONIGHT
FOR MUCH OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS...

AT 400 PM CDT VICTORIA WEATHER RADAR SHOWED VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS
OCCURRING NORTH OF A LINE FROM SAN ANTONIO TO VICTORIA AND BAY CITY.
THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE FROM GANADO TO ROSENBERG AND NORTH OF
SAN ANTONIO.  THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING EAST NEAR 20 MPH.

THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE WEATHER AND FLOODING EXISTS THIS EVENING FOR MOST
OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.   AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE LOCATED IN CENTRAL TEXAS
IS EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST INTO OUR AREA.   THE MOIST UNSTABLE AIRMASS
WHICH EXISTS OVER SOUTHEAST TEXAS WILL AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THUNDER-
STORMS...SOME WHICH MAY BE SEVERE WITHB LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...
GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL COULD BE POSSIBLE.

REFUGIO COUNTIES...

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR
NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE COASTAL BEND.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS
SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND BE
READY TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF THREATENING WEATHER IS
OBSERVED OR A WARNING IS ISSUED.

AT 435 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED WIDELY SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM SOUTH OF SAN ANTONIO TO NORTH OF
VICTORIA. MOVEMENT OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS TO THE EAST
AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR BEE AND REFUGIO COUNTIES THROUGH
TONIGHT. THE WATCH MEANS FLOODING IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA
TONIGHT. HEAVY RAIN COULD CAUSE THE RAPID RISE OF STREAMS AND
RIVERS...FLOODING LOW-LYING AREAS AND LOW-WATER CROSSINGS. OVER FLATTER
TERRAIN...THE RAINS MAY CAUSE PONDING WHICH MAY FLOOD LOW-LYING AREAS
AND LOW ROADWAYS.
