000 TTAA00 KCLE 272139 SVRCLE OHC093-272245- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 537 PM EDT THU AUG 27 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 645 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OHIO ...LORAIN COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT WATERS OF LAKE ERIE AT 530 PM WEATHER SERVICE SHOWED A LINE OF POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS STRETCHING EAST TO WEST ACROSS SOUTHERN LORAIN COUNTY. THE LINE ALSO EXTENDED EAST INTO NORTHERN MEDINA COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REACH THE LORAIN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AT AROUND 550 PM. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 25 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN LORAIN AND SOUTHERN CUYAHOGA COUNTY SHORTLY AFTER 6 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...HAIL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WHICH MAY CAUSE FLOODING OF DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.
