THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOLEDO HAS ISSUED A
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...SENECA COUNTY...WYANDOT COUNTY
 
IN NORTHWEST OHIO
 
   ...HANCOCK COUNTY...PUTNAM COUNTY
 
AT 1245 AM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
OVER PUTNAM...HANCOCK...SENECA...AND WYANDOT COUNTIES. THE STORMS WERE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE
POSSIBLE LATER THIS MORNING.
 
THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM HEAVY RAINS THE PAST SEVERAL DAYSTHE HEAVY RAINS COULD CAUSE SMALL STREAMS AND CITY DRAINAGE SYSTEMS TO
OVERFLOW INTO LOW LYING AREAS AND UNDERPASSES.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
