FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
 
   ...CUYAHOGA COUNTY...LAKE COUNTY...LORAIN COUNTY
   ...MEDINA COUNTY
 
A FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR
PARTS OF NORTHEAST OHIO FOR THE EVENING.
 
AT 335 PM EDT RADAR SHOWED AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN MOVING ACROSS THE
LAKESHORE COUNTIES. THE RAIN WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. THE HEAVIER
RAIN WILL BE MOVING OUT OF THE WARNING AREA BY 530 PM EDT.
 
RAINFALL AMOUNTS SINCE 7 AM WERE AROUND AN INCH OR LESS. THE GROUND IS
SATURATED AND STREAMS AND CREEKS ARE RUNNING HIGH LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
A STREAM WAS REPORTED OUT OF ITS BANKS IN NORTHERN MEDINA COUNTY AT 330
PM. EVEN WITH THE HEAVIER RAIN ENDING BY 530 PM...STREAMS AND CREEKS WILCONTINUE TO RISE THIS EVENING AND FLOODING OF ROADWAYS WILL CONTINUE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAJFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
