THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
 
   ...ASHTABULA COUNTY...GEAUGA COUNTY
 
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IS LIKELY IN THE WARNING AREA THIS
EVENING. AT 410 PM EST RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH OVER EXTREME NORTHEAST OHIO.
 
THE GROUND IS SATURATED FROM THE RAIN EARLIER TODAY AND STREAMS AND
CREEKS ARE RUNNING HIGH. THE HEAVY RAIN WILL END BY 530
PM...HOWEVER...STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL CONTINUE TO RISE AND ROADWAYS
WILL BE FLOODED FOR AWHILE.
 
SOME FLOODING OF ROADS AND CREEKS HAVE BEEN REPORTED OVER CUYAHOGA
AND MEDINA COUNTIES LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOzUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
