THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOLEDO HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AND SMALL
STREAM FLOODING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 215 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...EASTERN OTTAWA COUNTY
 
AT 1120 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SHOWERS WITH HEAVY RAIN
OVER EASTERN OTTAWA COUNTY. AT 1105 PM THE OTTAWA COUNTY SHERIFFS
OFFICE AT PORT CLINTON REPORTED VERY HEAVY RAIN. THERE WERE NUMEROUS
REPORTS OF FLOODING IN EASTERN OTTAWA COUNTY EARLIER THIS EVENING.
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL PROMPT MORE FLOODING INTO THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS.
 
IF FLOOD WATERS APPROACH OR IF AN EVACUATION IS ORDERED...MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
