THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
 
   ...EASTERN CUYAHOGA COUNTY...GEAUGA COUNTY
 
AT 535 PM RADAR SHOWED A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR MAYFIELD
HEIGHTS AND THROUGH BURTON AND RUSSELL IN GEAUGA COUNTY. THE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. THEY WERE MOVING OVER THE
SAME AREAS AND COULD PRODUCE ALMOST 2 INCHES OF RAIN IN AN HOUR.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NARROW AND AFFECTING ONLY A SMALL AREA.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
