THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK
      MADISON...ONEIDA

AT 330 PM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDING THROUGH CENTRAL ONONDAGA COUNTY.  THESE STORMS WERE
RACING EAST AT 50 MPH AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH ONEIDA AND
MADISON COUNTIES BETWEEN 330 PM AND 430 PM.  WIND GUSTS IN
EXCESS OF 50 MPH ARE COMMON WITH THESE STORMS.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...FIND SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
