WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK
      SOUTHERN JEFFERSON

AT 400 EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER THE SOUTHERN PART OF JEFFERSON
COUNTY NEAR THE TOWN OF ADAMS.  VERY STRONG WINDS...HAIL AND VERY HEAVY
RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.  IT WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
