A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER WESTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY 3 MILES
NORTHEAST OF WEST HAWLEY. THE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 60
MPH AND WILL PASS NORTH OF WATSON AND ASHFIELD WITHIN AN HOUR.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

A MOIST AND UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE OVER THE WATCH AREA WILL HELP
TO MAINTAIN AND INTENSIFY THUNDERSTORMS RACING RAPIDLY EAST
FROM NEW YORK STATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE
THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY MOVE INTO THE WATCH AREA BY 6PM
AND SOME OF THE STORMS MAY CONTAIN LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING STRONG
