THE STRONGEST STORM WAS 5 MILES SOUTHWEST OF EVERGREEN IN JEFFERSON COUNTY...OR 25 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DENVER. THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 10 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO SPREAD AWAY FROM THE FOOTHILLS AND OUT INTO TH[E PLAINS AFTER 2PM THIS AFTERNOON. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE A POSSIBILITY. ALSO HEAVY RAIN COULD PRODUCE LOCAL FLOODING. A TORNADO WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR MOST OF EASTERN COLORARDO UNTIL 8PM. IN NORTHEAST COLORADO THIS WATCH INCLUDES ADAMS...ARAPAHOE... DENVER...DOUGLAS...LOGAN...MORGAN...WASHINGTON...WELD...WESTERN YUMA...EASTERN LARIMER...EASTERN BOULDER...NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON... AND EXTREME WESTERN PHILLIPS COUNTIES. THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHEAST FOOTHILLS AT 2PM. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS OVER BUFFALO CREEK IN SOUTHERN JEFFERSON COUNTY...30 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DENVER.
